Terms of Service

Last updated: October 17, 2026

Effective date: October 17, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and LANSTAR INTERNATIONAL MEDIA LIMITED ("we", "us", or "our"). We operate the short-drama service under the name Mochi. They govern your use of the Mochi website at https://www.sweetreel.app/, related subdomains, and any Mochi mobile application that links to these Terms (together, the "Service").

The Service is a short-drama service. You can browse and watch series, keep a library and watch history, buy coins, and subscribe to Premium.

The Privacy Policy at https://www.sweetreel.app/ is part of these Terms. It explains how we handle personal information. If these Terms conflict with the Privacy Policy on a privacy question, the Privacy Policy controls.

Please read these Terms before you use the Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Agreement to these Terms

1.1 By accessing or using the Service as a guest, or selecting accept where we offer that control, you agree to these Terms.

1.2 We may update these Terms as the Service or the law changes. We will change the "Last updated" date above. If a change materially affects your rights, we will give you advance notice in the Service or, if you have bound an email address to your account, by email to that address, before the change applies. Where the law requires your consent, we will ask for it. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, stop using the Service. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the update, except where the law says otherwise.

1.3 App stores and payment companies may impose their own terms on the parts of the Service you reach through them. If those terms conflict with these Terms on a question about Mochi or the Service, these Terms control as between you and us.

2. Who we are

2.1 Mochi is the name of the Service. The Service is operated by LANSTAR INTERNATIONAL MEDIA LIMITED. Our registered address is UNIT 11, 9/F THE CLOUD NO.111 TUNG CHAU ST, HONG KONG.

2.2 When we say we will contact you in writing, and you have bound an email address to your account, email to that address is enough. You must keep that address current. We are not responsible for a notice you miss because that address is out of date or missing.

3. Who may use the Service

3.1 You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you are 18 or older, that you have not been banned, and that your use complies with the laws that apply to you.

3.2 The Service is not for anyone under 18. If you are under 18, do not use it. If we learn that an account is used by someone under 18, we will close it and delete the associated personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.

3.3 You may use the Service only for yourself, unless you are using a feature that expressly allows you to act for an organization and you have authority to bind that organization. These Terms then bind that organization as well.

4. The Service

4.1 We provide on-demand short dramas and related features, including search, a library, watch history, episode unlocks, coins, and Premium.

4.2 Some episodes may be free. Others require coins or an active Premium subscription. What is free, and the price of a coin pack or subscription, is shown before you pay.

4.3 We may add, change, or remove series, features, or availability to reflect the catalog, technical limits, or legal requirements. We do not promise that a particular series, episode, or resolution will remain available.

4.4 The Service depends on the internet and on your device. You are responsible for your connection, device, and any carrier or data charges.

5. Accounts

5.1 Guest use. You use the Service as a guest. We create a Mochi user ID so that coins, unlocks, watch history, and an active Premium subscription stay with that guest session. The Service does not provide a sign-in method to restore that session.

If you clear your browser data or change devices, you may be unable to reach that user ID. Coins, unlocks, and Premium on it may then be unreachable. We may also retire an inactive guest account as described in the Privacy Policy. Retiring it closes the account under section 5.5. A purchase made with Apple or Google can be reattached only through "Restore purchases" in Settings, as described in section 9.7.

5.2 No email or social sign-in. The Service does not offer sign-in with an email address, a password, a one-time code, Google, or Facebook. Binding an email address when you subscribe does not let you sign in with that address.

5.3 Email when you subscribe. You bind an email address only when you subscribe. We send a one-time code to that address. After you enter the code, that address is the email on your account. Use an address you control, and keep it current. Do not use another person's email. We send notices about Premium, including the start of a subscription and a cancellation, to that address. We do not use that email address to sign you in.

5.4 One account, your responsibility. Your account is personal. Do not sell, rent, share, or transfer it. You are responsible for activity under your account, including purchases, whether or not you authorized that activity. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account is being used without your permission.

We may limit how many devices can use one account at the same time. If you have bound an email address and we reasonably suspect the account is compromised or shared, we may ask you to verify that email. If verification fails, we may suspend access until it succeeds.

5.5 Closing an account. You may ask us to close your account by emailing [email protected] and giving us your user ID. If you have bound an email address, send that request from that address.

Closing an account ends your access. Unused coins are forfeited and are not refunded or transferred. An active Premium period ends when the account is closed, and we do not refund the unused part of that period except where the law requires a refund. Closing an account does not cancel charges already properly made, and it does not release you from obligations that arose before closure.

We may refuse, suspend, or close an account if you break these Terms, if we must do so to comply with law, or if we reasonably believe the account is being used for fraud, abuse, or to harm other people. We may do this without advance notice when notice would create a security or legal risk. We will tell you when we can.

6. Your license to use the Service

6.1 If you follow these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and watch the Service for your personal, non-commercial use.

6.2 This license does not let you:

  • copy, download (except temporary caching and any download control we expressly enable), record, or redistribute series or other Mochi content;
  • publicly perform, broadcast, or display the Service;
  • sell, resell, or commercially exploit the Service or your access to it;
  • remove credits, watermarks, or proprietary notices;
  • reverse engineer the Service, except to the limited extent the law does not allow us to prohibit that;
  • use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access the Service; or
  • circumvent a paywall, coin unlock, device limit, or other access control.

6.3 We reserve all rights we do not expressly grant.

7. Coins

7.1 Coins are a virtual balance used only inside the Service to unlock episodes and, where offered, other digital features. Coins are not money, are not a stored-value account, and cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred, gifted, or sold.

7.2 The coin page states that coins do not expire and that coin purchases are non-refundable. While your guest account remains open and you can still access that session, purchased coins and bonus coins that we credit to the same balance do not expire, unless a specific promotion told you, before you accepted it, that those bonus coins expire earlier. Bonus coins, if the product spends them in a set order, may be used after purchased coins. Coins do not survive a guest session you can no longer access.

7.3 We may change the number of coins required to unlock an episode, the contents of a coin pack, or whether bonus coins are offered. A change does not reduce coins already in your balance. We may refuse or reverse coins that were obtained through fraud, a chargeback, an unofficial channel, or a malfunction. Coins from an unofficial source have no value on the Service.

7.4 If we discontinue the Service, if we retire an inactive guest account, or if we close your account because you broke these Terms, unused coins are forfeited. If we discontinue coins as a feature while the Service continues, we will tell you in advance and either let you use the remaining balance for a reasonable period or offer a reasonable alternative.

8. Premium

8.1 Premium is a paid subscription. While it is active, it unlocks episodes and removes ads in the Service, as described on the subscription screen at the time you subscribe. A free or guest experience may still include ads.

8.2 Premium starts when payment succeeds and renews automatically for the same billing interval until you cancel. If you cancel, Premium continues until the end of the current paid period and then ends. You then return to the non-subscriber experience. Episodes you unlocked only because of Premium may lock again after Premium ends. Episodes you permanently unlocked with coins stay unlocked while your account remains open.

8.3 What the subscription page shows. Before you confirm payment, the subscription page and checkout show all of the following:

  • the plan name;
  • the price and the currency;
  • the billing interval;
  • that the plan renews automatically until you cancel;
  • the date the first paid period starts and the next billing date; and
  • links to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

You can open these Terms and the Privacy Policy from that page before you pay.

8.4 The billing interval is the length of each paid period. It stays the same for as long as that plan renews. It is the interval shown at checkout for the plan you select:

  • a weekly plan is charged once every 7 days;
  • a monthly plan is charged once every calendar month, on the same calendar day. If that day does not exist in a shorter month, the charge is processed on the last day of that month;
  • any other plan is charged once each interval shown for that plan at checkout.

8.5 Your billing date is fixed from the date your first payment for that plan succeeds. The first charge is processed on that date. Each renewal is processed on the same point in the next interval, at the start of each new period, until you cancel. The Service shows the end of the current paid period and the next billing date.

8.6 Automatic renewal. Premium is a recurring subscription. You authorize us and the payment provider to charge the payment method on file on each billing date, for one billing interval, at the then-current price, until you cancel. A renewal uses the same billing date and the same billing interval.

8.7 Notice that Premium has started. When payment succeeds and Premium starts, we send an email to the address on your account stating that the subscription is active. That message includes the price, the currency, the billing interval, the statement that the plan renews automatically until you cancel, the charge date, and the next billing date.

You bind an email address when you subscribe, as described in section 5.3, and we send this notice to that address.

8.8 How to cancel. The subscription page states how to cancel. To cancel, email [email protected] from the email address you bound when you subscribed, before the next billing date, and include your user ID. That email is the cancellation. We do not require a further step. We identify the subscription by that user ID and that email address.

Cancellation is effective at the end of the current paid period. It stops charges on later billing dates. It does not refund the interval you have already paid for, except where section 9 or the law requires a refund. After you cancel, Premium continues until the end of the interval already paid for.

8.9 Notice that cancellation succeeded. When we accept a cancellation, we send an email to the address on your account stating that the cancellation succeeded. That message states that the subscription is cancelled, states the date the current paid period ends, and states that no further charge will be taken on later billing dates. The Service shows the same status and end date on your account.

9. Payments, taxes, and refunds

9.1 Prices are shown before you pay. They may be in U.S. dollars or another currency shown at checkout, and they may differ by region. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge the method you choose for the coin pack or subscription you select, plus applicable taxes. For Premium, that authorization includes the recurring charge on each billing date described in section 8 until you cancel.

9.2 Payment is processed by a third party, which may include Apple in-app purchase, Google Play, or another checkout provider shown at payment. Your use of that provider is also subject to its terms. We do not store your full card number. We receive the result of the payment, the amount, the currency, and a transaction reference so we can deliver coins or Premium and keep purchase records.

9.3 You are responsible for taxes that apply to your purchase. If a payment is declined or charged back, we may withhold or reverse the coins or Premium from that payment, and we may suspend the account until the amount is resolved.

9.4 Coin purchases are final and non-refundable, as stated on the coin page, except where the law gives you a right that cannot be waived, or where we failed to deliver the coins you paid for.

9.5 Premium fees for the current period are non-refundable once the period has started, except where the law gives you a right that cannot be waived. If you live in a place that requires a cooling-off period for digital services, and you have not started watching paid content or using Premium during that period, contact us and we will honor that right.

9.6 If you believe we charged you in error, email [email protected] within 30 days of the charge and include the transaction details. After we confirm an erroneous charge, we will refund it. We do not refund mistakes that were caused by you choosing the wrong pack or plan, except where the law requires it.

9.7 "Restore purchases" in Settings asks the relevant store to reattach purchases already made with that store account. It does not create a new purchase or a refund.

10. Our content

10.1 Series, artwork, text, software, trademarks, logos, and the selection and arrangement of the Service are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Buying coins or Premium does not give you ownership of any series or other Mochi content.

10.2 The series and other audiovisual works available on the Service are either produced by us or licensed from the copyright owners or their authorized agents for online streaming and paid unlock on the Service. We do not claim ownership of works that remain owned by our licensors. You may watch licensed content only through the Service, for personal, non-commercial use, and only for as long as we are authorized to make it available. You may not copy, download (except temporary caching), record, redistribute, publicly perform, or re-upload any series or clip from the Service.

10.3 If you believe content on the Service is unauthorized or infringing, use the copyright complaint process in section 12. We may remove content, suspend access, or terminate accounts when we reasonably believe content or access violates these Terms or a licensor's rights.

10.4 The name Mochi, the Mochi marks, and product names are our trademarks. You may not use them except to refer to the Service fairly, and you may not use them in a way that suggests we endorse you.

10.5 If you send us ideas, suggestions, or other feedback, you agree that we may use them without restriction or payment. You assign to us the rights in that feedback to the extent the law allows the assignment.

10.6 AI short-drama compliance statement. This statement applies to each series on the Service that is generated or materially assisted by artificial intelligence. The Service does not let you upload a face, photograph, or likeness to generate a character or a scene.

  • Labeling. We identify such a series as AI-generated, or with an equivalent clear label, on the home page and on that series' detail page, so you can see the label before you play it.
  • How it is made. Where we use generative tools to produce such a series, those tools may include text generation, image generation, video generation (including video diffusion), and speech synthesis. We use them to create or assist the series. We do not use them to impersonate a real person, or to reproduce a real person's voice or likeness, unless we have that person's authorization.
  • Originality and rights. Such a series is either an original work we produce, or a work we make available only with authorization from the copyright owner or the owner's authorized agent. Complaints that a series is unauthorized are handled under section 12.
  • What we do not publish. We do not publish a series that is illegal, that sexually exploits a minor, that is fraudulent, or that is an unauthorized deepfake of a real person. If we learn that a series breaks these rules, we remove it.
  • Your use. The AI label does not expand the license in section 6. You may watch the series for personal, non-commercial use through the Service. You may not remove the AI label, present the series as unaided footage of real events or real people, or redistribute it.
  • Questions. Questions about this statement, or about whether a series is AI-generated, can be sent to [email protected].
  • Likeness and voice. A complaint that a series uses a real person's name, likeness, or voice without authorization can be sent to [email protected]. It does not have to follow the copyright notice format in section 12.

11. Acceptable use

11.1 You will not, and you will not help anyone else to:

  • break the law, or use the Service to harm a person under 18;
  • infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights, including by uploading, linking to, or distributing unlicensed short dramas or other unauthorized copies;
  • harass, threaten, defame, or impersonate another person, or misrepresent that you are Mochi;
  • probe, scan, or attack the Service, or upload malware;
  • scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the catalog;
  • bypass coins, Premium, geo-restrictions, or account limits, including by using unofficial clients or stolen payment methods;
  • sell or trade accounts, coins, or Premium access;
  • use the Service for commercial public performance, or to build a competing dataset or model from our series; or
  • interfere with other users' use of the Service.

11.2 We may investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement. We may disclose information when the law requires it or when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to prevent harm, as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Copyright complaints

12.1 We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe material on the Service infringes a copyright you own or control, email [email protected] with the subject Copyright notice and include:

  • your physical or electronic signature, and a statement that you are authorized to act for the owner;
  • a description of the work you claim is infringed;
  • the URL or other information that lets us find the material;
  • your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law; and
  • a statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury where that standard applies, that you are authorized to act for the owner.

12.2 If you are a user in the United States, a notice should also meet the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512. If we remove material and you believe that was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice with your signature, identification of the material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that removal was a mistake or misidentification, and your name, address, and telephone number. You must also consent to the jurisdiction of the courts identified in section 18, or the federal court in your district if you live in the United States.

12.3 We may share your notice with the person who posted the material. We may terminate accounts of repeat infringers. Knowingly false notices and counter-notices can create legal liability.

13. Advertising and third-party services

13.1 The free experience may include advertisements. Premium removes ads in the Service, as described at checkout. We decide the placement of ads. An ad is not our endorsement of the advertised product. Your dealings with an advertiser are between you and that advertiser.

13.2 The Service may link to third-party sites and payment tools. We are not responsible for those services. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms, except for their own terms that apply when you use their payment services.

14. Changes, suspension, and ending the Service

14.1 We may suspend the Service for maintenance, security, or events outside our reasonable control. We may stop offering the Service in a country, or stop offering it entirely. If we permanently discontinue the Service and you have an unused Premium period that you already paid for, contact us and we will refund the unused portion of that period, unless the payment provider's rules require the refund to go through that provider. Unused coins have no cash value, except where the law requires otherwise.

14.2 Sections that by their nature should continue after these Terms end will continue, including sections 7, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17, and 18, and any unpaid amounts you owe.

15. Disclaimers

15.1 The Service and the series are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

15.2 We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful code. Series may be delayed, removed, or incomplete.

15.3 Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers. In those places, the disclaimers apply only as far as the law allows.

16. Limitation of liability

16.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, LANSTAR INTERNATIONAL MEDIA LIMITED and its affiliates, directors, employees, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of these Terms or the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility.

16.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service in a 12-month period is limited to the greater of USD $50 or the amount you paid us for the Service during the 12 months before the claim.

16.3 These limits do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where the law forbids that limit. They also do not limit any non-waivable rights you have as a consumer.

16.4 If you are dissatisfied with the Service, your remedy is to stop using it and, where these Terms or the law provide one, to request a refund or close your account.

17. Indemnity

17.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, you will indemnify and hold LANSTAR INTERNATIONAL MEDIA LIMITED and its affiliates, directors, employees, and licensors harmless from claims, damages, losses, and reasonable legal fees arising out of your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of someone else's rights.

17.2 We may take control of the defense of a claim that you would otherwise indemnify, at our expense. You will cooperate with that defense. You may not settle a claim that imposes an obligation on us without our written consent.

18. Governing law and disputes

18.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America, excluding conflict-of-law rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

18.2 Before starting a formal proceeding, you and we will try to resolve the dispute by emailing [email protected] and describing the dispute. If it is not resolved within 30 days after that notice, either party may start proceedings as follows.

18.3 Except where the law gives you the right to go to a local court, disputes will be resolved by binding individual arbitration seated in the United States. If you are a consumer, the Consumer Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) apply. Otherwise, the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the AAA apply. The language will be English. The arbitrator may award any individual relief that a court could award. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court in the United States if the claim qualifies. Either party may seek interim or injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction in the United States to protect intellectual property or to stop unauthorized access to the Service.

18.4 Where the law allows a class-action waiver, you and we agree to bring claims only on an individual basis, and not as a plaintiff or class member in a class, collective, or representative action. If this waiver is held unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim will proceed in court and the rest of this section will continue to apply.

18.5 If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have mandatory rights to bring proceedings in your country of residence, and those rights are not limited by this section. Nothing in these Terms limits liability or rights that consumer law does not allow us to limit.

18.6 If the laws of Hong Kong give you a right that cannot be waived, that right is not limited by this section.

18.7 Claims must be brought within one year after the claim arises, except where a longer period is required by law.

19. Other terms

19.1 These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service, together with the Privacy Policy and any checkout terms shown to you before you pay. If a court holds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

19.2 You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them to an affiliate or to a successor in a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business. If we do, your rights under these Terms will not be reduced.

19.3 We are independent contractors. These Terms do not create a partnership, employment, or agency. A person who is not a party has no right to enforce these Terms, except that our affiliates and licensors may enforce provisions that protect them.

19.4 Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Headings are for convenience only.

19.5 You will comply with export and sanctions laws that apply to you. You may not use the Service if you are barred from receiving it under those laws.
